Tax and Duties declaration:

Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country.

Igabow Models is not responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance, and customers must pay for these in full. Igabow Models has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and you are advised to contact your local customs office to understand what the thresholds are in your destination country. This will tell you all you need to know about what duties may be applicable to receive your package, before you place your order.

Customs processing may affect delivery times, this is something Igabow Models cannot predict nor be held responsible for.

If you refuse your parcel and it is sent back a restock fee of £7.50 will be taken off your refund.

When will you send my order?

I try and get to the post office once a week, usually on a Friday, although this can vary.

As I’m a one-man band it can end up taking a little longer to get kits dispatched if I’m experiencing high volumes of orders. I hope that in choosing to support a small independent business you will understand this and I thank you in advance for your patience.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Parcels bound for mainland UK will be posted using Royal Mail Tracked 48 (usually 48 hours unless Royal Mail are experiencing delays or strikes) and is free.

International parcels and Highlands & Islands will be sent using the most appropriate courier (you will need to get in touch for a quote if you live outside of mainland UK).

Delivery times for international postage will vary depending on factors such as customs, choice of service (i.e. economy will take longer) and other extenuating circumstances (like the weather). So, it could be 2 days or 15 days but if you have any concerns or queries don’t hesitate to get in touch.

For what to do in the event of a missing parcel please refer to the last section.

REFUNDS

I’ve changed my mind! Can I return my kit?

In the event that you change your mind it is possible to return your kit, as long as it is in the same (perfectly saleable) condition it was sent out in. This means all original packaging intact and it hasn’t been ‘unboxed’.

You have 30 days from date of purchase to send your kit back and you are responsible for the cost of the postage. Please get in touch beforehand so that I can approve the return and provide you with the necessary details.

Due to the nature of them, seconds are non-returnable, however if the kit arrives damaged or does not arrive at all please see below.

What if my order is damaged in transit?

Please contact me right away if your kit has been damaged in transit (along with photos of the damage), and where possible I will sort out a replacement ASAP.

If a replacement isn’t available, then the full cost of the kit will be refunded.

What should I do if my kit hasn’t arrived?

Very occasionally parcels will go astray, particularly if moving through customs, though they are more often delayed than lost.

This being the case please allow up to 28 days for your kit to arrive. If it still hasn’t appeared after that time then do get in touch.

If your parcel has tracking I will contact the courier company for an updated arrival date.

If it is truly lost then either a replacement kit or a full refund can be arranged.
